Keke (Tricycle), Okada obsolete, we shall ban it and revamp our railway system – Edeoga assures Ndi Enugu

The gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Edeoga Chijioke has promised the people of Enugu State that his administration will revamp the railway system and ban tricycle, Motorcycle operation in the entire state.

The guber candidate made this known today while in a meeting with the Enugu State Proprietors Association where he had assured them that their students shall no longer be coming to school by boarding public buses, tricycles and motorcycles before getting to their schools but will be going to school through trains that will be built specifically for students as seen in the western world.

Lamenting on the recklessness of some Keke and Okada riders, he maintained that many students have died and some sustained various degree of injuries that left them maimed for life, insisting that he is going to employ Sullivan Chime’s method and sanitize Enugu State of the miscreants who are constituting havoc in the metropolitan roads in the name of riding Keke Napep.

“Each time I see what our young boys are riding on the road, I feel like crying. On so many cases have we recorded accidents being caused by Keke riders. Worst of it all are the Hausa young men who have joined the business and have doing the business without minding the sacredness of the life they are carrying. It is time to stop it and save our children from falling victim of their recklessness”, Edeoga assured.
