It appears there is no limit to the vicious propaganda being hawked by the vultures in the name of opposition politics in Enugu State. The claim that all is not well with the PDP in Enugu State and that Peter Mbah flees from his godfathers published online by Akelicious( Whatever that means), and which has no author, has no anchor for admission into truth. It is a figment of vile and mischievous imagination.
Chimaroke Nnamani in whose administration Peter Mbah served as Chief of Staff and later as Commissioner for Finance is a respectable statesman and arguably the father of Enugu democracy who has in various dimensions impacted lives and raised leaders in the state. Peter Mbah had started his political career under Chimaroke’s wings, and it is appropriate that he recognize Chimaroke as a father figure that he is, and has, so, maintained a good relationship with him. At no time had there ever existed between Peter and Chimaroke such frosty relationship as Akelicious would virulently imagine, pen and publish online. Senator Chimaroke Nnamani and Peter Mbah enjoy a cordial relationship. What rather happens is that such scenario of Peter distancing himself from Chimaroke only took place in the dreams and imaginations of the embittered, embattled and disgruntled labourers of Nsukka extraction, playing primitive politics of calumny and bitterness. They have got to wake up and clear the log off their eyes.
The fact remains that, if anything, the PDP is now united more than ever before while the leaders enjoy most cordial relationships among themselves.
The opposition, especially from the disgruntled folks that people Enugu Labour Party, is wont to weave fictions around the PDP and its candidates, especially the party’s governorship candidate, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. Whatever they want to achieve with such propaganda and lies remains their own diminished task. Peter and the PDP are impervious to such puerile chicanery, shenanigans and make believe.
Governor Ugwuanyi and Barr. Peter Mbah are focused on state matters and town hall meetings respectively. While Ugwuanyi attends to state matters, even as his legacies speak for him with regard to his senatorial bid which is fait accompli, Peter has got to communicate his social contract with the people and so chose to engage the people at town hall meetings being conducted in the 68 local governments of the state. Governor Ugwuanyi has yet to attend the town hall meetings as he is busy with state matters and national assignments, moreso as the campaign has not begun in full swing.And when it does begin, Akelicious and the dead wood piled along the culdesac called Enugu Labour Party would eat back their words upon their realization that there is no division between Ugwuanyi and Peter Mbah.
The fact that Enugu is PDP and PDP Enugu is incontrovertible. It is impossible for any party to dislodge the PDP in Enugu State, especially now that the party prides itself in the best brand of candidates it has got. No amount of propaganda and attempt to create negative impressions about the PDP in Enugu State shall prosper. Enugu cannot afford to miscarry the immanent prospect of exponential growth Peter Mbah’s candidature embodies. The people of Enugu State are eagerly waiting to vote Peter and all the PDP candidates en mass.
His Excellencies, Senator Chamoroke Nnamani, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Barr. Peter Mbah and the PDP are united in love and commitment to the delivery of the entire candidates of the party in Enugu State whole and complete at the general polls of 2023. No propaganda can overawe this resolute determination of the party and its leaders to do the needful that would result in total victory for the party. Whoever seeks division to see among the part leaders and its candidates thinks what never was, is nor ever shall be.
